Santa Margherita di Pula

Following the Road 195 from Cagliari, in about 40 minutes, you can reach the beautiful town of Pula, followed soon after by the tourist resort of Santa Margherita di Pula. Nearby lies the archaeological site of Nora, a Punic city that passed under Roman rule. Its ruins are located a few steps from the crystal sea, a unique spectacle that attracts thousands of tourists every year.

The beaches are scattered around the coast, mostly of fine sand and clear, and they are the main attraction of the area. Santa Margherita has a very favorable location for a seaside resort. The dry and sunny climate is tempered by the breeze of wind that, given the orientation of the coast, rarely makes the sea very rough. This means that the beaches in the area are particularly suitable for families with children as well as to windsurfers and kitesurfers.

The nearby town of Pula offers a lively nightlife, with its streets dotted with shops and stalls, the free performances in the main square, nightclubs and fine restaurants and pizzerias.

Not far away is the spectacular golf course Is Molas, the biggest in Sardinia, which has hosted the Italian Open four times. Finally, do not miss a trip to the nearby area of Chia, with its fabulous bays and beaches.
